The House in Polranny dates from the 19th century and consists of two floors. It’s perfect for people who want to work in absolute peace or find inspiration. Ideally, the House sleeps two although there is enough space for four or even five.
Rooms and facilities
Downstairs: entrance, a living room, a kitchen/dining room, a utility room and a shower with a toilet. Upstairs: two bedrooms, a study, a bedroom/workspace and a bathroom with a toilet. Heating: central heating, turf stoves in the kitchen and living room, and a fireplace in the study. Instructions for lighting and tending these fires are provided upon registration.
In short, the pirates’ hideaway combines all mod cons with an old-fashioned sense of comfort. All the usual domestic facilities are available, and there is also a library that includes a collection of Irish maps, guidebooks, history books and literature.
